required membership form and a NOT required donation/contribution on same page
December 13, 2012, 08:18:52 pm
Hi all,

I am having some trouble getting a required membership form and a donation/contribution where they can enter this NOT required donation amount in themselves. This is Word Press and CiviCRM. In Manage Contribution then Amounts in the back-end of CiviCRM CMS.

The issue is if a user does not enter a donation greater than or equal to 0.00 in the Allow other amounts field authorize.net test mode payment processor errors (attached screen shot) and says they have to enter an amount. Authorize.net test mode actually DOES process the membership but errors and sends back to the first page.. The user would have to type in 0.00 in the Allow other amounts field to Not error and go through the payment process pages, we do not want to tell a user to do this hopefully. I am hoping there is a fix to this because I have tried a lot of different things in the back-end forms of CiviCRM CMS. I have tried setting up different Price Sets and they error as well and do not accept a 0.00 to process.

I actually set up a Fixed Contribution Option with the value 0.00 and set to default so a user can just leave this checked and it works fine, but a no thank you choice then shows up (COMING FROM I DO NOT KNOW WHERE) and this choice does not work if the user chooses, “No Thank You”.. Does anyone know how to get ride of the, “No Thank You”? I attached a screen shot of this …

Any help or advice is extremely appreciated..

Thanks,

Pete
