Member Status & Renewing/Existing Members
December 20, 2012, 06:33:45 am
I have a site where for any renewing or previously existing member,  the Administrator does not receive any email communication, nor doe their individual membership get successfully completed in the contact's memberships tab.  The credit card transaction does complete successfully, however.

This issue only happens to renewing and/or previously existing memberships.  All 'new' members transmit and complete perfectly.

Renewing and existing members receive the following message:

"Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.
Oops, it looks like there is no valid membership status corresponding to the membership start and end dates for this membership. Contact the site administrator for assistance."

I have investigated the site's Status Rules.  They are as follows:

Status     Start Event              End Event
New           start date                  end date
Current   start date               end date
Grace   end date                 end date
Expired   start date                 end date
Pending   member since         member since
Cancelled   member since         member since

The membership type is 'Fixed', with a start date of July 1, XXXX to June 30, XXXX.  It uses a Fixed Period Start Day of July 1st and a Fixed Period Rollover Day of June 30

I am running 4.1.6 on Drupal 6.26

Can you consider doing an upgrade as it may be something that has been resolved

Pete -

I just did an upgrade to this version.   The same thing was happening with a previous version of Civi.

Also, because the site is running D6.26, I believe I might be at the end of the current upgrade path,  but am not entirely certain.  I know there also appears to be some at least some upgrade issues beyond 4.1.6 from my read of previous upgrade threads.

Is there anyway (logs or otherwise)  I can investigate?
