Hi hope someone can help me

Came back form Christmas and this error seem to have appeared when asking to create mailing labels from contact group
TCPDF ERROR: Some data has already been output, can't send PDF file

I've not installed anything new recently but ruling out magic I'm guessing it must related to an early update to another module or something?
I've checked pdf letters and these work fine
I've read this post http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=23676.0 and the patch already seems to have been applied
Some posts seem to imply that it might be down to the text encoding of a source file- what should I be checking for?
I can't upgrade civi as triggers aren't supported in my hosts mysql version and it didn't work when I tries to upgrade without (I'm promised an upgrade)
any ideas?

I've fixed this by re installing the code base. This removes the patch I did to allow inbound emails to be filed on a case see

since this is the only modification to the code base I made and the only thing I changed back to fix it I'm guess they are linked. When I get round to re installing the patch I'll see if it breaks again
