Scheduled Reminders don't respect Membership Status Override?
January 04, 2013, 10:18:30 am
I'm not filing a bug report since this is second-hand info from a client, but she insists that she did a status override, and the member received a renewal reminder.

I see that this was patched on the old reminder system (http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-6362) so I assume there's general agreement that memberships with overriden statuses shouldn't get reminders.

Has anyone else found this to be true?

I have just experienced the same issue today.

I am the admin of a small CiviCRM install with Drupal for my organization. I am new to CiviCRM, so I may have overlooked something. But, I have status override on some expired memberships, but they are still getting the reminders I scheduled during the grace period.

Any suggestions out there for this newbie? Thanks in advance.

Still having this issue? Any fix? Can I apply something from here?

zkrebs - that bug report is from before the advanced reminders functionality exised - so that code is extremely unlikely to still be relevant.

Issue tracker item you can follow here: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-12219
If you want to try and patch your 4.2 install you can probably get a patch from that issue once it's committed.
