Joomla (1.5)/CiviCRM (3.3) to Wordpress (3.5)/CiviCRM
January 06, 2013, 05:55:07 pm
Hi,

I would love to hear from some people who have made the move from CiviCRM on Joomla to CiviCRM on Wordpress.  I've converted my website over to Wordpress already, but I've still on CiviCRM running on Joomla and it's time to take the plunge.

I don't see any really good resources that explain the best way to go about doing this upgrade.  Any recommendations or pointers?

OLD Environment:  Joomla (1.5)/CiviCRM (3.3)
NEW Environment: Wordpress (3.5)/CiviCRM

Any pointers on the best way to approach this would be appreciated.  Thanks!  Kathy

The basic procedure here http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC41/Moving+an+Existing+CiviCRM+Installation+from+one+Drupal+frontend+to+another should work to switch between any two CMS's.
