Trouble in having a group member to access his groups
January 07, 2013, 11:15:08 pm
I'm new to civiCRM and even drupal too and this forum has helped me in implementing some basic functions.

I want to create a customise page for a members of a group and then give the user access to that basic page with basic information about other contacts .

What I have done so far :
1. I have created a group in civicrm and have set the  association rule for the corresponding drupal role
2. and i have given the navigation link to the contacts of that group at the user menu in drupal
3. the link is not customised because of my beginner's knowledge of both technologies , so the page shows all options like edit etc. I want to customise that .
the problem I'm facing is its showing Access Denied everytime I sign in as a member of that group  .

I have already gone over the Permissions of both drupal and civicrm.

Can any body please help me ?

Take a look at CiviCRM profiles. You can restrict a profile to a group and expose information that way
