Joomla - The requested Profile (gid=5) is disabled

I've upgraded from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 on a development domain name, and I've upgraded from Civi 3 to 4.2.7. My contribution page ( 12health.com/soul/component/com_civicrm/Itemid,169/view,Contributions/ ) throws an error unless I'm logged in. The error is:

The requested Profile (gid=5) is disabled OR it is not configured to be used for 'Profile' listings in its Settings OR there is no Profile with that ID OR you do not have permission to access this profile. Please contact the site administrator if you need assistance.

I've gone in the backend to CiviCRM... Administrator... Users and Permissions... Permissions (Access Control) and changed all of the Contribute public permissions to allowed, but that didn't fix it. Any other ideas?

the issue is the profile perms, not the contrib page perms
make sure: CiviCRM: profile create -- is enabled for public users.

and you'll want to uncheck some of the contrib related settings you enabled. CiviContribute: make online contributions -- should be sufficient.
support CiviCRM through 'make it happen' initiatives!
