Is there a typo in the Joomla upgrade to 4.2 documentation?
January 10, 2013, 04:53:11 pm
On this page it says "The steps below assume you are already running Joomla 1.6 ..." and repeatedly references 1.6.

CiviCRM 4.2 works with 1.7 or 2.5 only.

Q: Is the correct procedure to upgrade Joomla to 1.7 or 2.5 first, then install the 4.2 CiviCRM as a component and run the 4.2  upgrade script on a 3.4 or 4.0 CiviCRM database?

If so would the correct wording be: "The steps below assume you are already running Joomla 1.7 or 2.5 ..."

Stoob:

can you please do a search and replace and change 1.6 (or any other version) to 2.5
