Upgrading CIVICRM 4.2.6 to 4.2.7
January 15, 2013, 09:09:58 am
Hello - Appreciate your help with the following issue. I am trying to upgrade civicrm from 4.2.6 to 4.2.7, on drupal 7.0. Followed thru all the instruction as mentioned in the wiki link for civicrm:
wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC42/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+4.2+-+Drupal+7

When I come to step 10, Run the upgrade script:

<your_drupal_home>/civicrm/upgrade?reset=1

It doesn't do anything, it just takes me back to civicrm dashboard... Can you please tell me how do I run the upgrade script? My civicrm code base is now on version 4.2.7 whereas the database is in 4.2.6 ..

Appreciate your help in advance.
Thanks Ankur.

Do you have 'clean urls' enabled? Otherwise the url will look something like

<your_drupal_home>?q=civicrm/upgrade&reset=1

NB - although you should fix this there are no bad implications of using 4.2.7 without running the update as the only database changes relate to permissions on existing report instances and are a minor security tweak

Thanks for your response. Yes, I do have the clean url enabled... Is there any other way I can run the database upgrade script? :-(  Thanks for your confirmation of no bad implication, I will continue to use it, but would like to get my db upgraded to the latest version as well....
Thanks for the great toollllll... I am loving it. :-)

Thank you so much. I ran it using Drush, and looks like it worked fine. I just verified the civicrm_domain table, and it shows version 4.2.7...

Thanks again...
