On Behalf of Reserved profile - gotcha or bug?

So was wanting to use On Behlaf of Profile with some custom fields
I added custom fields and now the profile has lost its preset types of  'Contact, Organization, Contribution, Membership'
and now has 'Organization, Contact' only.

So is this a big gotcha - as in I cant add custom fields to reserved profiles or is this a bug?

Either way - how can I et reserved profiles back?
It s little quirks like this that really dampen the day :-\

Can you try to replicate the same on our demo (http://demo.civicrm.org/)

I can confirm that this happens on the Joomla demo
JUst added custom fields to Reserved OBO profile. Core associatiosn disappear

Hello alanski,

Just a thought, why not make a copy of the OBO profile and add your custom fields to it? Tried it on the demo site and was able to add custom fields, still lost the Contribution and Membership types, but only from the copy; the reserved OBO profile stayed the same.

Thanks for the thought Jason.
Unfortunately, it doesn't solve the issue. From a user perspective its another hassle to have to remeber to take a copy of a core profile in case one bricks it thru 'normal' usage :)

Unfortunately, I didn't even take a copy though i certainly tried adding the  custom fields to the copy on the demo and bricked that profile too.
