upgrade drupal 7 CiviCRM 4.1.6 to 4.2.7
January 16, 2013, 06:19:16 am
Hi,

I tried to upgrade following the instructions exactly. I get to the green upgrade page and then click upgrade and it goes through to a page with Status [] and then retry/skip which doesn't do anything. I read about the firefox error so tried in IE and Safari and still got the same error. I have now tried CiviCRM 4.1.6 and get the same error again.

NOTE: the site is a multisite so rather than the files and settings file being under default they are under the domain folder i.e sites/freiheitinchristus.ch/

Any ideas please? (I have tried to look around the forum for an answer, but couldn't find anything).

Regards

Gareth

do u have a custom maintainance theme? that was the issue with the last person who reported this issue

also if you can check via firebug and see if there are any javascript errors, that will  help narrow things down

Lobo,

You really are a star ;D Thank you. I changed the theme to a standard theme and the upgrade worked. There are a lot of very happy people in Switzerland now :-)

Blessings!

cool :)

would be great if we can figure out if there is a custom maintainance theme? i took a brief look the last time, and did not see an easy way of figuring this out. so would be great if you can spend some time looking and seeing if this is possible (in which case, we can alert the user and avoid the issue!)
