Forced Logout (looping)

Just recently my civicrm has started automatically logging me out when I click on any civicrm menu item.

I am running CiviCRM 4.2.7 on Wordpress 3.5. I can open the civicrm dashboard but when i click on any civicrm menu item it logs me out. I am then caught in a login loop. This started happening when I upgraded to 4.2.7 from 4.2.6. I have no plugins installed (other then civicrm). Additionally, I have backup my database and completely reinstalled civiCRM but it is still happening. Right now civiCRM is completely useless. Any suggestions?

can u check and see if the urls match between the site you are logged into and the link your are clicking on? i.e. are they the same hostname

Good call.. the address is slightly different. How do I change the default url that civicrm uses?

I found it. Not sure if this was the easiest method... but I had to do a find and replace in the sql database to change all the incorrect urls. All is working fine now.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to diagnose this problem.
