Registration Confirmation Email - Issue with Subject Length

Hello! I have been debugging my email confirmation for CiviEvent and finally realized the issue I'm getting (mail() returned failure) is due to the length of the email subject. Unfortunately my users have rather long event names, so short of changing the names of the events, is there a quick way to increase the length of this variable?

I dont think so. seems like this is a limit with php mail() function. You can try searching and see if there is a workaround for this in php
