Can the "view" link in profiles be removed?
January 19, 2013, 05:19:06 am
Because of space constraints, I'd like to remove the  "View" field from the profile standalone form or directory view for a specific profile.  I looked for a setting to do that but couldn't find one.  Does anyone know a way to do it?

If a visual helps, here's a link to what I'm talking about: http://careerep.net/index.php/volunteer-attendees?task=civicrm/profile&force=1&gid=26

Also, I'd like to display the directory in an iframe without the Joomla template. I can do it for the initial load using the tmpl=component parameter. Is there a way to ensure the links within the profile results (like "next page") do the same?

You can remove the View link via a custom template or custom JS code.

Interesting question. I have no idea but this you could also achieve with JS, but it's a bit more complicated.
