Hi,

I'm looking at 4.2.7 and see that click-sort table headers behave strangely (to my sensibilities) in the Contact tabs for Contributions, Pledges, and Events. On the demo site, you can see this behavior at a page like this one: http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=102 , or in any contact that has content in these tabs.

On other tabs, such as Activities, Relationships, and Groups, the table headers use DataTables.js to drive on-page sorting of table rows.  But on the Contributions, Pledges, and Events tabs, the table headers are links pointing to a separate URL. When the page load completes, the data is sorted properly, but the Contact navigation tabs and contact-level function buttons ("Actions," "Edit," and "Delete Contact,") are missing.

So, is this behavior by design for a specific reason? Could there be an argument for changing this behavior to the on-page table sorting found on the other tabs?
