Localisation issues when importing/exporting
January 24, 2013, 02:23:22 am
Hi
currrently using Drupal 7 and Civi 4.2.6 set up as a 'multilingual installation' with English UK and Dutch languages available.

I log in to the db as an administrator and most times everything works ok but sometimes when running an import/export process the civicrm fields for mapping in the dropdown list show in the Dutch language?

The only thing I can seem to do to revert back to english is go to 'administer/localisation/languages,Currency, Locations' and de-select Dutch as an available language. Run the process again and when complete turn the Dutch language back on...unfortunately this is upsetting my Dutch colleagues.

Does anybody know how I can prevent this 'language switching' occuring...?

Many thanks
YNWA

Are you using memcache by any chance?

Hi Lobo

Apologies for not getting back sooner, been out and about.

To my knowledge we are not using memcache...please see attched example of the language switch through the import/export routine.

My Dutch colleague is not set as a full administrator so I am confused as to why this is happening.
