Field pre help not showing in petition

Dear all,

I've encountered a problem in setting up a petition and I've recreated the problem in the demo system.

If I add field pre help and field post help, only post help shows when signing the petition. If the profile is previewed both pre and post show up.

If you have any suggestions as to why this is and how I can try to fix it, please let me know.

I've added http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-11769

I haven't looked at the developer documentation yet. If I find out how to fix it, I'll create a patch.

Any suggestions where to start looking in the code?
