Apologies if a post already exists on this topic, but I am trying to add a Search View Profile that includes a custom field for contributions and can be used for Display Results as: Contributions.  Perhaps I am going about it the wrong way because I received this message:

"Oops. Contribution can not be used as a Result Column for profile searches." (see attached)

Please let me know if there is a way to change the default Search View for Contributions to include a custom field?  Thank you!  In advance for your help.

Hi,

The only search result you can customise via profile is contact (eg choosing it on advanced search or setting the profile for search result for basic search or group) I think. Would be great to be able to customise other searches too, but don't think it's on the roadmap.

You could use view on drupal as a workaround.
