Email Notification failing for Recurring Contribution (IATS Gateway)

Hello -

We're struggling to get email notifications going to administrators when a donor makes a recurring payment.  Ideally, we'd like to have both the customer and the site admins get an email (the same one) with all of the details of the transaction.

When the donor makes a recurring payment, neither the donor nor site admins are getting emails.   They are, however, when making a 1 time donation.

Further, we'd like to include the recurring schedule or frequency and periods. E.g. "I want to contribute this amount every 1 month(s) for 2 installments."

We are using the IATS payment integration, and I know there's some delay in the initial charge being processed for recurring transactions... Is that preventing emails from going out?

Using CiviCRM 4.2.4, Joomla 2.5.8, and we know that email works for just about everything else in Civi.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Using CiviCRM 4.2.4, Wordpress 3.4.2, and PayPalPro, I have the same issue. In my case at least, it is unrelated to the payment actually being processed, and CiviCRM claims that a receipt was sent at the proper time, though no such receipt was actually sent.

If you view a recurring contribution that has experienced this issue, what does it say on the Receipt Sent line?
