One sentense translation
January 30, 2013, 07:01:10 am
Hi,

I'm using CiviCRM 3.4 and Drupal 6 in French.

I have configure some profiles in CiviCRM that show on the user account page in Drupal.  One of those profiles is Read Only.  So when I want to edit this profile I have the message : C'est information ne sont pas modifiable.   This information message have errors, it should be : Ces informations ne sont pas modifiable.

How can I simply modify this sentence ?

Thanks for help.

Martin

Hi,

This is the place we handle the translations. Modifying previous transactions might not fit so well in the process, I'd suggest you to migrate to 4.2 (you can keep drupal6)

P.S. Ne serait-il pas opportun d'accorder modifiables ? ;)

Salut,

I had a quick look in the strings, and it seems like this was already fixed in the latest translation (I don't know what the English string is to be 100% sure, but I can't find the string you posted).

You can update your translation by getting the latest "po/fr/civicrm.mo" (of fr_CA) from here and overriding the one in your l10n directory:
https://github.com/civicrm/l10n/tree/master/po/fr
https://github.com/civicrm/l10n/tree/master/po/fr_CA

As Xavier points out, you should also consider upgrading to the latest version of CiviCRM. Many localisation bugs were fixed since then.
