Can't report how many household members we have (newbie)
February 05, 2013, 08:16:27 am
We've just imported some test data from our existing database so that we can have a look at it in CiviCRM.

We need to know how many members we have so I thought I would have a look at the Membership Report to see how that works. I set the filter to show "current"  "Household" members.

The report says there are 78, but when I look at the list I can see that it is double counting because it is showing returns of both type "Household", and of type "Household (by relationship)".

It's the number of Household (by relationship) people I need to know, ie the number of individuals who have membership.

I exported the report as a csv and oddly the Type field is exclusively 'Household' whilst in the Contact Name field I have alternating eg "Brown Household" and "John Brown" etc

I'd be grateful for advice from anyone who knows how to find out the number of actual people who are members.
