Email-to-activity "no subject" emails preventing processing in 4.2?
February 06, 2013, 01:46:22 pm
Hi All,

A new problem.  I realized a while ago that most of the mail that goes into the "civi ignored" folder when we process inbound emails are emails with no subjects.  This left a bit of a black hole in our activities list, but no problem.

However, I noticed that no email processing was happening after I upgraded to 4.2.

I have occasionally found specific emails that seem to disrupt processing, but after much sorting and manually processing, I *think* inbound email processing is halting when it comes to a "no subject" email.  Nothing seems to have gone to civi-ignored since the upgrade.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Am I missing something?

Thanks, as ever, for your help!

would be great if your developer / consultant can take a look at the code and try to debug this.Any chance this can happen?

claudian helped us out here.

If anyone else is having the same problem, patch is at http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-11887

and all of our mail seems to be processing now! Yay!

Thanks claudian and lobo!
