No activities Tab (like demo) in Advanced Search from 2.0.1 install.
March 16, 2008, 05:31:05 pm
Hi all,

Hopefully these questions will prove to be useful for other people that might be in my situation.

In the Advanced Search, the Tab for Activities doesn't appear like in the demo (I have the other 10/11: Address Fields, Custom Fields, etc...).

In fact Under Administer Civicrm -> Global Settings -> Site Preferences I have different a few discrepancies, from the demo, in the Advanced Search section.

Here is my list of checkboxes:
Address Fields,Custom Fields,Activity History,Scheduled Activities,Relationships,Notes,Cases,Kabissa,Change Log,Contributions,Grants,Memberships,Events

where as the demo has:
Address Fields,Custom Fields,Activities,Relationships,Notes,Change Log,Contributions,Memberships,Events,Cases,Grants

Activity History Check box as well as Kabissa, have no appearant effect on the tabs.

I upgraded from 1.9.12432 2 days ago.

Oh and in the Drupal : Administer -> Access Control , my permission level contains all privileges.

Thanks,

-Ian

Did you do the following step (clear template cache...) - as it appears that you're still seeing 1.9 screens:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Upgrade+Drupal+Sites+to+2.0#UpgradeDrupalSitesto2.0-10.ResetYourUserSessionandCleanupTemplateCache

Yeah I tried it back when i did the upgrade and, just in case I only tried then Clean URL method when my setup uses the parameterized way, I tried it again just now...

Here is the original URL for admin civicrm:
http://<domain>/index.php?q=civicrm/admin&reset=1

I ran this:

http://<domain>/index.php?q=civicrm/admin&sessionReset=2&directoryCleanup=1

Same situation as before..

Ian,

Since you are getting below options:
Quote
Here is my list of checkboxes:
Address Fields,Custom Fields,Activity History,Scheduled Activities,Relationships,Notes,Cases,Kabissa,Change Log,Contributions,Grants,Memberships,Events

I think your db is not build for v2.0. Is it possible for you to reload your v1.9 db and try again upgrading to v2.0.1.

Hope that helps :)

Can you send db dump to kurund.jalmi@webaccess.co.in, we can check and get back to you.

thanx for the db, there was a bug in upgrade script which we have fixed and will be available as a part of CiviCRM v2.0.2.

For now you will have to manually fire few SQL statements or use db which i emailed :).

UPDATE civicrm_option_value` SET `label` = 'Activities'  WHERE `civicrm_option_value`.label ='Scheduled Activities' ;
DELETE FROM `civicrm_option_value` WHERE `civicrm_option_value`.`label` ='Activity History' ;
