Assignee and help not working after changing host (wordpress)

we installed Powered by CiviCRM 4.2.3 in wordpress for a customer.  We had to change servers - straight migration no upgrade.

It seems that the help text is missing when you hover or click in the help icon and if you try and assign an activities to the assignee nothing is found.  Also noticed that the popup calendar for picking dates is no-longer working.

Is it looking for a javascript directory ?

I am not sure where to look for the solution.  I searched the forums and the web and found no answer.

Sounds like it. Can you check your civicrm.settings.php file directories and also the Directories page of the Admin setting within CiviCRM's web interface?

Last, you can use Firebug for Firefox and look at the Net and Console tabs when the page loads and look for missing files or any errors?

Hi Pennerg,

You have probably resolved this by now, but for anyone else having the same issue I recommend checking for conflicts with other plugins. I had exactly the same issue. The problem was a conflict with another plugin (a slideshow plugin in my case).
