Cannot create new relationships

When I try to add a new relationship of type "household member is"  between an existing household and an existing individual I get an error message after clicking the "save relationship" button.   (I did not fill in any of the optional details on the relationship)
 
The error message:
  "null is not of the type Date"

can you please file an issue for this for 4.3

Better yet, since you are a consultant/integrator. would really really help if you can:

1. attach a unit test and/or web test to reproduce this issue
2. Check the code and file a patch that fixes the issue

works if date fields are used - just to complete the picture though probably obvious to the above - thought i should test anyhow
