PCP Images Not Displaying

Pretty stumped on this one.  The images exist in the correct folder, are publicly accessible, but won't load in the PCP page.  The query ID looks good in the db and matches the file name.

Firebug says it's 200 so it doesn't throw an error message in the server log (nor in the watchdog) but the (firebug) console's error message is:  "image corrupt or truncated: example.org/civicrm/file?reset=1&id=5&eid=2"

Multiple browsers, same for anonymous users and user 1.

I've spent way too long diagnosing this one.  any thoughts on what i'm missing?  where i could look?

How did the images get into the folder?

Hi Hershel, it's a new install and the images were uploaded through the standard Create PCP.

Appreciate any insight or where i could look to troubleshoot.  I've exhausted everything I can think of.

Not sure. The images you uploaded are complete files on the server?

Perhaps try a very small one as a test.

Yes, complete files that i can view from the absolute path.  I tried a 2x2 image and same result as the normal size images.

I defaulted the theme and the image appears.. weird.  There's no css action on the image or any parent.  Any reason why a theme would impact the loading of a PCP image?

After narrowing it down to the theme, I found a formatting error in my custom theme's template.php file.  Not sure of the correlation but it fixed 'er right up.
