New to civicrm

Hello,

Greetings from Bangkok everyone.

I'm so happy I found civicrm to help me maintain this farmers market project.  I'm glad there are people out there have developing and supporting such awesome software!

I'm starting to use civicrm for use with my farmers market association but right now I am somewhat confused on how to set things up.  Here's what I need to setup with civicrm at the moment.

1.  I have three user types at the moment vendors, volunteers, and contributors/donators.
2.  I have a vendor application that I must convert into a profile?  How do I setup registration fields for vendors?  Is there somehow I can have them enter the produce/fruits/vegs and what month they are available?
3.  I have a recurring farmers market event that I need to setup with table assignments

Is there some type of tutorial out there that you guys would suggest me watching to help me with these issues.

Currently at the moment we are doing this all inhouse, I would love to pay for a consultant to come help us.. but everything is being bootstrapped now until some funds come in.
