Delete case permanently: anything changed since 2009?
February 12, 2013, 10:33:26 am
The last message posted in 2009 on the possibility to delete cases permanently indicates that the only possibility was to delete them directly in the Dbase.

Has this changed?  Currently all my cases used for trial are in the trash but I cannot delete them further.  As I am new to this world I ay have missed something.

That is still true. Design was intentional for auditability.

Thank you for your reply.   It is just annoying in the learning and creation phase.

Dave - what about a "test case' option?

Pete - Not sure adding 'is test' flag provides any significant benefit since you can already move cases into the Trash (which moves them "out of sight"). I think the issue here is more about getting ridding of them completely / permanently. Perhaps a "cleanup script" that could be run outside the UI might be a reasonable solution ??
