Error when registering multiple participants
February 12, 2013, 12:07:17 pm
I've set up an event where an individual can register multiple participants. If the individual is only registering themselves then everything works fine. When they try to register multiple participants then after hitting 'Continue' on the 'Confirm your registration information' page the end up at https://example.com/civicrm/event/register with the error message:
Quote
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://example.org/civicrm/event/register. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this webpage later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.
If I then refresh that page I go to a Drupal page that states:
Quote
Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
Could not find valid value for id
Return to home page.
I have verified that both individuals are indeed registered but it's pretty confusing to the one doing the registering. Any thoughts on what might be happening?

Last year we encountered an error when we used price sets, and where the first booking included a selection with a zero cost.

are you sending pdf receipts? if so, you might want to turn them off and see if things work

We are sending confirmation emails configured at the bottom of the 'Configure event' > 'Online Registration' page. Is this to what you are referring by pdf receipt?
