Double opt-it in Wordpress

I have a problem with double opt-in in Wordpress - i don't know how can I turn it on.

All e-mails received through civicrm/profile/create&gid=X&reset=1 are written to group as "Added (by Admin)".

I've checked this topic http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,18364.msg76242.html#msg76242 but Wordpress version has no Access Control module yet.

Adding options to civicrm.settings.php:

define( 'CIVICRM_PROFILE_ADD_TO_GROUP_DOUBLE_OPTIN', 1 );
define( 'CIVICRM_PROFILE_DOUBLE_OPTIN', 1 );

is not changing anything.

Is it possible to turn it on?

1. Do you have civimail enabled?

2. Those settings have been moved to the civimail admin screen:
