Multilingual CiviCRM Install? Joomla or Drupal?

Hello Everyone...

I am currently using Joomla as a CMS but I am running into issues with the multilingual module/extension I use for Joomla.  Falang... it only supports certain modules.  Civicrm is not one of them. 

I am considering moving to Drupal + CiviCRM in a multilingual setup(english/thai/japanese).  Is this much easier todo in Drupal?

In Drupal as well, the Drupal-based multilingual features do not extend to CiviCRM.

CiviCRM provides its own multilingual support, but that's essentially a feature independent of the CMS.

Drupal's multilingual support may overall be better than Joomla, but I don't think specifically with regard to CiviCRM, that either will have an advantage.
