Could not find valid value for gid
March 17, 2008, 01:56:24 pm
I'm so close to getting this to work.  Can anyone please help me figure out why I'm getting this error. "Could not find valid value for gid"
http://66.231.243.55/index.php?option=com_civicrm&Itemid=65
When you hit the search button you get this error.
Regards,
Cindy

Hi,

Get a blank screen on your link.

gid is related to profiles as far as I saw, could you detail what you're trying to do ?

Otherwise, you might try to update to 2.0, that's been out of the door.

Good luck !

most likely u did not make the session changes to index.php as documented on the wiki. Please recheck index.php and ensure it matches up with the wiki docs about front end installs

Thanks lobo,
I had upgraded Joomla to 1.0.15 and it overwrote my fixed index.php. I'm not getting that error now.
