Hello,

Been searching through the forums as I'm sure this must be an issue for someone else out there too! We support a number of users and as we are upgrading them to 4.2.x series this same issue keeps appearing.

We use the default Drupal editor for a number of reasons but mostly as solves an issue with the image uploader not working with the CKEditor in 4.2.x versions. However, it means that now you can't load tokens or templates. As regular newsletters and pdf letters rely heavily on this it's a real issue.

Has anyone managed to come up with a solution?

For 4.3 and onward, might be better to focus and fix the CKEditor issue so the problem is solved across all CMS'es

any chance GMVCO can take a look and contribute a fix towards this. Would be good to get this into 4.3 alpha

Thanks for the update on where this stands. I'll ask my collleague Chris who is much more skilled in these areas than I am to have a look and see what we can contribute. Would be happy to help solve this for others!
