showing groups nested in search criteria pulldown

Hi,

I would like to know how I can show the pulldown for groups in a nested format (two level) - just like it's done for Organizations

Please see attached image - I would like to nest my groups in a similar manner.

This is currently not possible via the UI. U'll need to do it via custom code (and if u do so, please share your changes)

This would definitely be a great improvement. If your org can contribute code that enables this that would be so so helpful. Please do ping us on IRC if you (or your developer needs help getting started

Hi Lobo,

I am traveling at the moment, but will ping the team on IRC in about a week.  If yall could point me to the example of how Organization is doing it, I can try to take a stab at it.

Might want tor read the developer handbook: http://book.civicrm.org/developer/ to get started, This will allow you to find how various parts of the code base function
