Access to manage contributions

I need to give individuals the ability to manage contributions but not the ability to see other details . I was able to do this easily using permissions for events but when I do it for contributions it allows new contributions, find contributions, bulk data entry  and import.
on drupal 7.16 and civi 4.2.6

You cannot do this by default, but this has come up a couple of times in the past few months. So definitely a need for it

You'll need to change the permissioning structure and rearrange a few pieces of the code, but might be a worthwhile project to do for 4.4. Ping us on IRC, if u need help getting started
