Ok I got the webhooks working with WordPress, but it's a bit hacky. MailChimp needs to send its webhook data to a publicly accessible page, but pages that are publicly accessible in Drupal aren't necessarily in WP. I had to change the webhook URL and add an extra permission in civicrm.php. The details are on the githib issues page.

Also successfully synced our 22k mailing list without a problem.

Hi, do you know if the Civicrm Mailchimp integration is available yet? This is something I would really like to see happening.

If so is it easy to do?

Thanks

Please do comment back here once you install and play with it so others have a better idea of the status /quality etc

Hi

I just installed the extension at http://civicrm.org/extensions/mailchimp-sync/v10
I followed the instructions
1. Create lists on MailChimp with the same names as the groups you want to sync on CiviCRM
2. Install and enable the extenstion
3. Go to http://<yourdomain>/civicrm/admin/setting/mailchimp and enter your MailChimp API key and select your list
4. Run an initial sync at http://<yourdomain>/civicrm/admin/mailchimp/sync

When I went to enable to the extension I got an error saying something went wrong.  However when I checked in Civi under Administer and manage extensions, the extension was enabled and I was able to enter the mailchimp API, select the lists and run the sync as described in steps 3 -4.
However, 1 day later, there doesnt seem to be any contacts transferred from CiviCRM to Mailchimp.  Is there anything that I have missed ?

Btw I am using Drupal 7 and CiviCRM 4.2.6.

Btw this is the error I got when I tried to enable the component (first attachment).
However after I got this error, when I went back to the manage extensions page, it said it was enabled (second attachment).

Hi Vishram, do you have logging enabled? it looks like there's a problem enabling the extension with logging enabled - There was an issue logged on the GitHub for this project about that

Hi Derrie

Thanks for the advice, however I checked and logging was not enabled.
I may try uninstalling and reinstalling and see if that works.

Thanks anyway

vishram74 - there was also an issue with generating smart group caches, so that might be worth a look too. I think the extension assumes there is a cache of all smart group members already in place. There's a patch on github that checks for this cache and generates it if needed.

Hi Krypto

Thanks for that.

I managed to reinstall and now the Contacts in the groups in CiviCRM are being created in Mailchimp

However when I unsubscribe a contact in Mailchimp the changes are not being reflected in Civi.
The webhook URL it is using is https://www.fremantlechamber.com.au/civicrm/mailchimp/webhook

Also, forgive my ignorance but I am unsure of the parameters to configure the scheduled job for the SMartgroups sync.
Please see attachment.

Could someone please guide me with this
Thank you!

Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but here it goes- I just uploaded the Mailchimp Integration extension from ScienceGallery to our extensions folder, but when I tried to install it on the CiviCRM Extensions page, I got this error:

Exception: "Entity declaration references invalid or inactive module name [com.sciencegallery.mailchimp]"

I'm still learning the ropes here, and haven't been able to figure out how to fix this. Has anyone else had this problem? Or (more likely) does this indicate that I have some setting configured incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated!
many thanks.

Wow! I'm super excited about this.

Does anybody know if it would just happen to work in 4.4 as well?

Thanks,
-Joseph

I tested it, and 4.4 isn't supported at the moment. However, the developer says that he hopes to update it soon.

I have the same error after clicking install: "Exception: "Entity declaration references invalid or inactive module name [com.sciencegallery.mailchimp]"

The extension is also not marked as "available" in the extensions list, it is there but the availabe field is empty. Not sure what can trigger this.

The developer told me it was working for him on 4.4.0. I couldn't get it to work on 4.4.3 or 4.3.7. I had an open issue here: https://github.com/sciencegalleryderek/com.sciencegallery.mailchimp/issues/18

It installed without error on both versions, but it was throwing a 403 error when I try to save the settings. It turns out the solution was simply to give anonymous users permission to make online contributions. It looks like it's working for us now.

Is this different to Target Integration's work at http://www.targetintegration.com/downloads/mailchimp-civicrm-sync.html?
