Contact name replaced by custom field name on receipt - still happening

As I initially posted about at http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,2298.msg9778.html#msg9778, my e-mail receipt that is generated from CiviCRM is replacing the name of the person with the name of a custom data field ("Interests" is the name of the field in my case).

I had opened a bug report and was told to attempt to re-create the problem on the sandbox site.  I created the environment as best as I could, but the error was not re-created, so the report was closed.  However, this is still an issue on my site.  Is there any other way I can provide some info that would help troubleshoot it?

What is your CiviCRM version. It works fine in current CiviCRM version, check on demo.
If problem persist please consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional
