Integrating civicrm with other CMS
March 18, 2008, 10:06:29 pm
HI All,
I had a similar question in one of my posts but I could not get what I needed so I am posting again with a new question.

My Question is : When we integrate civicrm we always need Drupal/Joomla. Can we integrate civicrm with any other CMS. Many CMS offers addition functionality by adding a module like Joomla/Drupal. If we want to use civicrm as a module in any other CMS rather than Joomla/Drupal, then what steps are required to do this And from where can we start it. I have integrated civicrm 1.9 with Drupal/Joomla but did not get any clue to get it working with other CMS.

Thanks in Advance.

You can try standalone version of CiviCRM which is part of 2.0.x release. In this way you are not dependent on any CMS.
For more info, please check: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Install+2.0+for+Standalone

Yes you can install standalone version on windows, assuming you have mysql and php.
