I would like to change the text on contribution pages allowing for "other amounts" from "Contribution Amount" to "Payment Amount". Also, the error message displayed when one does not enter a contribution amount in the "Other amount" field reads "Contribution Amount is a required field." I would like this to read "Payment Amount is a required field." Using the Word Replacements feature in the dashboard fails to address this.

can you provide the specifics on how you did the Word replacement as i would think this would work

ie exact match or not, enabled or not (yes trust me it is easy to overlook fact that they need enabling'

have you tested also on demo?

I have tried both with Exact match enabled and disabled, but still no luck. I cannot get the sandbox contribution page to show.

If I go here where do I see 'Contribution Amount' or are you talking about somewhere else in the system?

Sorry, this is on a Wordpress installation of Civi. So this would be equivalent to the "Other Amount" text on the Drupal installation. And I do not have any price-sets defined. I think without Price Sets being Defined, "Other Amount" defaults to "Contribution Amount"

You may have to create a user account since this is running CiviCRM 4.3 beta with ACL. Authentication is required to access page

can you try on demo if sandbox is busted

otherwise i will bow out as i don't feel i am helping you much

also try word replacement for 'contribution' to 'payment' and do NOT tick Exact match
