Creating Drupal 7 users via Tags + Rules

Check details at blog http://tinyurl.com/chcvydh

Using Tags along with our entity module plus Rules gives some new options for creating drupal users for new or existing contacts, either singly, for multiples, or via Import or Webform

Just a heads-up that this relies on entities, and also the Entity API module, so only works for Drupal 7.  (Though if anyone has a way to make it work for Drupal 6  I'd be quite interested!)

Thanks - have modified the subject to address the D7 issue - in D6 we were happy to use the User Import module but now i wanted some more flexibility.

Has been pointed out to me to add an Action to the Rule to then remove the Tag and do the housekeeping that way - on my list.
