Here's an idea for promoting CiviCRM to potential new users

This is an idea from the Drupal folks, of a (nearly) free (£5) Intro to Drupal... http://www.eventbrite.com/event/5571434310# ... here in London next week.
I got the invitation email yesterday (at 10:47) and by this morning (at 6am) it had sold out (although I can't tell how many places there were).

I see the CiviCRM folks in Portland, Oregon are doing something similar next month.... http://cnrg-portland.org/content/civicrm-workshop-free-geek-48 ... and charging $60 for it.

I guess there may be others, but it seems like a great way to engage with potential new users.

Mark  :)
