Uploading images: Unknown Error

We are attempting to upload an image on an event info page. When I navigate to the CKFinder, select the image, and click Open, I receive an error:
Code: [Select]
Attention:  Unknown Error
This is not very descriptive, I understand.

Where can I find more details about possible causes for this issue? I have checked the file permissions for sites/default/files/ to be 777.  Where is the kdir:/Images directory?

CiviCRM 4.3.beta1
Drupal 7.20
MySQL 5.1.68-cll
PHP 5.3.22
