Hi,

  Is it possible to create scheduled job to send out thank you event registration email every night?

might want to take a look at the scheduled reminder functionality for events

Nope.  We use API to register people.  We want to send out Thank you for registration email every night.

There is no scheduled job for this, but you can add your own custom scheduled to do the needful

I dont think there are api's as yet to generate thank you emails for contrib / registrations, but is probably a good addition
