Joomla & Windows Azure

We're considering a shift to Windows Azure from our current servers, and are primarily a Joomla shop.  We have a few nonprofits using civiCRM at a fairly basic level and I'm wondering if civiCRM will continue to work properly on Windows Azure.  The only post I've seen about this is: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,13909.0.html  Has anyone had any experience with Joomla + Civi + Azure?  Thanks for your input!

That is an interesting question. You are correct that no one else has ever posted about trying Azure with CiviCRM so it appears you would be the first one to try. :)
