Bulk Mail Approval - Notification?
March 18, 2013, 11:28:32 pm
In our install of CiviCRM we have a permission of "CiviMail: approve mailings". This is very useful for when we want a user to create a mail, but not necessarily send it out.

Once they schedule a mail it is then entered in a queue until an administrator approves the mailing.

Currently we have a user compose and schedule their mail, at which time they send an email to an administrator asking them to approve the mailout. Is there some way to automate this? i.e. can the system send a notification to a pre-determined address (or addresses) informing them of a new mail which requires approval.

It seems odd that there is not already a scheduled task to take care of this.

Conor
