Is a detailed report by price field available

I'm trying to produce a detailed report that breaks down payments by price field. Instead, all I can find is a record that show the aggregate of all the price fields for the registration. I've looked at several different reports and have also exported participant records but these are not broken down into the detail I want.

There is Custom Search
Price Set Details for event participants

Thanks, Peter. That looks like it might work but where do I see the search specifications? We are on 4.1.5

It is a Custom Search - don't you have 'custom searches' under 'search'?

I can see the custom searches and manage custom searches under admin but where do I find the specification for the search? I need to try it in 4.1.5

I am still not following.
That search has been round a fair while - i would expect you would have it on 4.1 but i could be wrong.
Not sure what you mean by 'the specifications'
If you have the Search and run it, it will give you a column for each price set item.

Sorry...I was looking at our production site. It had been disabled there. Our contribution site is a separate instance. Now, I need to modify this search and was looking for a way to edit the specification. When I click on "edit" in Administration/.../Manage Custom Searches, all I see is the ability to change the Custom Search Path and the Search Title. I want to add some more columns to the output.

Definition is perhaps a better word than specification.

Selection criteria
Output fields
Sort order and grouping.

Not sure I can help much - eileen could flesh things out but she is v tied up on things - it is a custom search - so you could dig in to the code for it - not even sure where to point you but a search for 'custom search' on forum might give you some pointers
