CiviCRM Community Forums (archive)

Hi all,

I've been talking to Michael McAndrew about "founding" a Brazilian CiviCRM community.

As you should know, here in Brazil we speak Portuguese and not everyone knows some English. So, it's important to produce some content about CiviCRM in Portuguese, as well as space to discuss about it in the language.

I didn't found messages or any stuff about a brazilian community, so I think this is our first one. Maybe it would be a good idea to open a Child Board to host this talk and others, in Portuguese.

I would like to make it clear that a Portuguese forum would be useful for both Brazil and other Portuguese countries, but I don't think there's any chance of using the same space of Spanish discussions, as long as there are too many differences between the languages.

I think that a forum called "CiviCRM - Brazil" would be great to discuss questions concerning to specific issues related to Brazil, such as payment methods, credit card integration, translations. I totally approve the suggestion.
