Profile fields only appear for logged in users
March 28, 2013, 06:18:06 am
Hi there,

This for WP 3.5.1 and the latest CiviCRM source:

When I create customs fields and hook them up to a profile, I set the fields in the profile to display on "Public Pages and Listings". I then connect the contribution page with the profile.

The profile fields display and record well when I am a logged in user. However, when logging out the fields have disappeared.

I have tested this also on the demo site and get the same results.

Any ideas?

Greetings.

r u using v4.3 beta?

make sure that anon user has access to the permission: access all custom data

i think we were not setting it by default in earlier versions of 4.3 (fixed for the next beta)

Thanks. You're a hero :) I made all the profile stuff readable for the anon user ... but not this part (who would have known).

Yes, I am using build 45904.

I guess I need to stop the svn before going to production  ;D

note that we've switched to github, so svn has not (and will not) be updated recently
