I would like to know if the civicrm compatability with Joomla 3.0 is coming soon.

I want to upgrade joomla from 1.5 to 3.0, bypassing 2.5, if possible, I can wait a few months for CiviCRM to be compatible, otherwise I will just have to upgrade to 2.5

We are hoping that v4.3 (currently in beta5) will be compatible with Joomla 3.0

I think we are mostly there, but there are a few things that need to be fixed and tweaked for 3.0. Would be great if you org can help us with this transition and provide patches for parts of civi that dont work with J! 3.0

might want to read the forums posts here and file a few issues with patches
