Cividiscount error HTML_QuickForm_Controller
April 02, 2013, 10:56:16 am
I recently let CiviCRM upgrade the Cividiscount extension to 2.1, and now it is busted. When I click on the "apply" button to apply a discount code, I get this error:

"Sorry but we are not able to provide this at the moment.
HTML_QuickForm_Controller: Unhandled action "reload" in page "Register""

I am on Drupal 7.21 and CiviCRM 4.2.4. The registration page is https://bikewalkkc.org/civicrm/event/register?reset=1&id=14147 and the discount code is "brewmember". Any help would be much appreciated.

CiviDiscount requires v4.2.7 or later. Unfortunately the extension mechanism does not recognize minor releases and hence we could not encode that requirement

Thanks. I upgraded CiviCRM to 4.2.7 and the error is gone. However, the discount code won't work. I enter a valid code for the event and the price set, but after clicking apply the price is not updated to reflect the discount.

we've been using it quite nicely on civicrm.org for civicon. A few other sites are also using it successfully

would be great if you can add some debug code and figure out what is broken and where. Ping us on IRC if u need help getting started
